RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 460-bed facility's Operating Room on the 1st floor of South Tower
• 1:1 patient ratio required
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 11-13 RNs, 11-13 Techs, and 4-6 FAs
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1 RN, and 1-2 Techs
• Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible
• Required certification: BLS
• Navy blue scrubs required
• All contract labor requires call and holiday call assistance
• May float to Endoscopy unit
• Must have experience in: Trauma (general, ortho, neuro), Ortho, Ortho spine, Neuro, General, GYN, Urology, Podiatry, Bariatrics, Vascular, Robotics (DaVinci Xi), Organ procurement, and Plastics
• Preferred experience in: Advanced Vascular CVOR (Hybrid OR), Thoracic & Open Heart, Endoscopy (EGD and Colons), and Ophthalmology
• Work with all service lines and procedures except transplant
• Limited ENT and Ophthalmology (trauma ophthalmology only)
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Work with all types of equipment across all service lines

The Operating Room department provides advanced surgical care including trauma services, orthopedic procedures, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, bariatric surgery, and robotic surgery using DaVinci Xi technology. The facility maintains high standards for surgical care and utilizes state-of-the-art equipment across all service lines to support diverse surgical procedures.
